The Tejano Fan Fair focuses on the opportunity to experience new Groups and listening to the various sounds they re-invent. Also, I give all the respect to the legends of TEJANO but we have to also make way for the new ARTISTS that are trying to make a name for themselves. As people need to get out of the past and support the new bands that are going to keep the Tejano industry strong for the generations to follow.

Whats Up Raza? We are gearing up for Fanfair 2010! I would love to see la voice JAY PEREZ, little miss dinamite SHELLY LARES, and original showbands like LA SOMBRA and LA FIEBRE. Im 28 years old and have been in this game since 1993. We as la onda have lost a bunch of power fm tejano stations and its hard to keep up. All I know is,, Im proud to have a Fanfair to go to and still represent. PURO TEJANO……

to whom it may concern. how come PROXIMO SONIDO isn’t in the fan-fair line-up? they’re an up and coming artist and 2009 TTMA nominee.as well as other bands that were there last year like HOMETOWN BOYS, ALBERT ZAMORA, THOZE GUYZ, AND MANY MORE. anyway, we aint gonna make the trip to see a bunch of groups we’ve never heard of.

To La Preferencia, is the girl who sang with you last year the girl who won that Selena contest? I saw you all last year and she was great. I looked her up on youtube and La Preferencia came up. I really want to see her sing. Is she still with the band because I notice on the lineup that it said Mariano y la Preferencia. I really am looking forward to seeing her sing.

I understand thats what it was designed for but there are a few big name bands playing on the main stages throughtout the weekend. People are always talking about keeping TEJANO MUSIC ALIVE!!! I am from Midland Texas and we have seen a growth in interest in tejano. I just think that having these guys perforn will help the Tejano industry prosper and grow. Que Viva La Onda!!!!!

Yes I did hear that Ilyssa Saenz was going to be there. I would really like to know what time she is going to perform. I saw her during the competition and would really love to see her perform live. If anyone knows what time she will be performing please let me know!!!

Looking forward to fan fair but wondering why La Fuerza and Jay Perez are not on the lineup. I was also wondering about Ram Herrera, and if you guys ever think about getting the old school bad asses like La Fibre,La Mafia,La Sombra and Xcelencia to perform that would be the ULTIMATE TEJANO SHOW!!!!!

just wanna say that we have enjoyed the last 5 years we have gone. BUT, I wish you guys would do something about the restroom issue. have you guys seen the lines at the portapotts . Each person drinks about an average of 2 beer every 30 min. If you could get them in and out of the porta potts quicker( hint ) put some more or something . your beer sales would triple . think about Freddie Lujan
